Masculinity and its Connection to the Feminine Spirit + Qigong | Mark Montgomery

Define “masculinity” and “femininity” to understand the roles they play in life, relationships, within ourselves, and the movement into wholeness.  Strengthening the mind-body connection and understanding, Mark will combine the discussion with a session in the ancient practice of Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”).  Qigong translates from Chinese to mean “life force cultivation.”  It consists of gentle movements, breathing techniques, and mental concentration.  Practicing Qigong brings masculinity and femininity into balance to circulate, strengthen, and cleanse the life force within oneself for greater vitality.  A long time Qigong practitioner and teacher, Mark has studied with Qigong masters in the U.S. and China since 1979.  He regularly teaches both Men’s and Women’s groups about energetic literacy – including the power of masculine and feminine energies, and is the co-founder of Bend Community Healing.
